Achal Mehta also gave a continental ghazal album in 2007 named 'SAMANDAR' expressing deep emotions of the soul. Seven beautiful heart touching ghazals written by Kaisar ul zafri sahab, Ahmad faraz saheb and Hassan naim saheb were conceived, composed and sung by Achal Mehta himself and music was given by Kaushik Mistry. The music was arranged by Achal Mehta.

Kavya Dhara - a treat was given to the music lovers of vadodara in the form of a sugam sangeet concert was held at the Kirti Mandir abivyakti sanskritik sthal, Baroda on 21st of February 2009.
The concert, named 'Kavya Dhara', was hosted and organized by Achal Mehta and received positive response from the audience. The show was held as a tribute to the poets who have done a great deal in contributing to the scene of music and Guajarati poetry.
